Making predictions

Aprenda aqui a fazer previsões futuras em inglês, para todas as ocasiões baseado em algum fato no presente.

1 . Para quais situações você costuma fazer previsões? De acordo com as ilustrações abaixo, quais dessas previsões (1-3) estavam corretas?

1 I think they’re going to get married.

2 It’s going to rain tomorrow.

3 Chelsea are going to win this afternoon.

2 . Mandy Phipps trabalha como jornalista para uma revista de turismo. Ela está passando o Carnaval no Rio de Janeiro e resolveu escrever para o editor da revista, Bob Matthews. Anote as três previsões encontradas no texto abaixo.

Grammar: Future with going to

Lembre-se: usamos going to + verbo no infinitivo para fazer previsões sobre o que irá acontecer.
This carnival is going to be fantastic.
It’s going to rain.
